Healthy adult pets should be seen by their veterinarian for a wellness visit annually. Senior pets should be seen by their veterinarian for a wellness visit every 6 months. These visits are for physical examination, vaccinations, bloodwork, parasite screening, and to discuss annual dental cleaning. Senior pets are seen more frequently to help improve their quality of life as they age and to detect problems or illness early when treatment is most likely to be successful. Puppies and kittens will be seen more frequently for wellness visits- every 2-4 weeks until their booster vaccines have been completed. If your pet is showing abnormal behavior or experiencing signs of illness, please have your pet seen by your veterinarian. Please consult your veterinarian with any questions or concerns!
